We do not collect details of your visits to our site.
Attending appointments with Private Practitioners operating from The Dancing Soul
If you attend for private appointments with practitioners working from The Dancing Soul, these practitioners will have their own privacy statements and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these statements. It is in your interest to check with your individual Therapist / Practitioner in relation to their GDPR privacy statements. We do not hold any information on individuals attending private therapists at The Dancing Soul
Attending appointments with the Affordable Counselling Service operating from The Dancing Soul
Personal information is kept in relation to clients attending the affordable counselling service provided at The Dancing Soul. This is in order to proved psychotherapy / counselling (‘legitimate interest’). Any information you give is entirely your choice. Your request for psychotherapy / counselling and the agreement of the relevant therapist to provide this constitutes a contract.
Where data is stored
- on paper in a locked filing cabinet in reception office.
- All notes are anonymised in keeping with guidelines of GDPR
- Contact details and statistical information is kept on digital record and deleted after 2 years. This file is password protected and computer is encrypted.
- Your data will not be shared with anyone without your explicit consent.
- You have the right to see what personal data of yours is held and we will respond to you within 40 days of your written request. You have the right for any factual errors to be corrected.
How Your Information is Used
Where you submit your personal information to us, it will only be used for the stated purpose and any reasonably incidental purposes.
The Dancing Soul will not sell or rent any information about you to any third party.
