I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapist, having trained for 5 years with the Tivoli Institute in Dublin. I have a post-graduate Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy and I am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP).
I have significant experience in working with people who are suffering from stress, anxiety, depression, emotional distress, relationship difficulties, trauma and low self-esteem.
I work with each person in a way that suits their individual needs, and respects their unique experience and self-sufficiency. I offer a safe space for people to work through their emotional and psychological difficulties and I help people to effect change, as appropriate.
There are times in all our lives where we can find ourselves feeling stuck, anxious, stressed, confused, saddened or overwhelmed. We may find that our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours are impacting negatively on our ability to live a fulfilled life. Having a safe space to talk about issues that are troubling you can be helpful, and over time, support change.
People attend counselling and psychotherapy to explore a wide range of issues, including, but not limited to; Anger, Anxiety, Bullying, Confidence, Depression, Disordered Eating, Emotional Crisis, Grief, Insomnia, Personal growth, Relationship Difficulties, Self-esteem, Sexual Abuse, Sexuality, Stress, Suicide and Trauma.
People also attend therapy to better understand themselves – why they are the way they are, and react to things the way they do.
You can talk to me about any issue that is of importance to you.
If you would like to discuss how therapy works, and if it might benefit you, please call 083 1707072 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
