we hope you are taking good care as we ease into a new month.
there is a sense of change happening. Restrictions starting to lift. The school and college term coming a close. The sun shining more. The laughter of children vibrating in the air. The smell of freshly cut grass. Colours are becoming more vibrant in nature around us. There is a sense of emerging, of lightness.
How are you feeling? How are you receiving lightness in your life? Or maybe there is a craving to create a space for lightness? Allow yourself to ponder how you can invite lightness into your life… what that might look and feel like for you.
Allowing space for lightness doesn’t diminish or get rid of the darkness. It is okay to enjoy the lightness even though there is still a lot of hurt and pain around us.
We can hold space the light and the dark, simultaneously.
We can grieve and experience joy.
We can be hurting and have fun.
We can experience loss and appreciate new spaces.
It is okay to contradict, it is human.
Invitation to embrace the lightness that fills you up. Whether that might be drawing on something you haven’t done in awhile (or this year) or being open to something new coming in. May you lean into whatever serves you.
May we find ourselves energised and nourished this coming month.

I have just started as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with The Dancing Soul. I am offering one to one counselling sessions for individuals experiencing tough times in their lives. From previous work settings, I gained ample experience working with teenagers and children.
I have a Masters in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Completing the Masters provided the opportunity to develop a unique skillset that enables me to assist and support individuals who are going through troubling times.Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a talking therapy that focuses on the individual’s present state of mind. It involves dealing with a person’s behaviour, emotions and thoughts. CBT is a goal-focused and problem-solving used for anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD etc. I am excited to work with new in The Dancing Soul in order to help them overcome their personal concerns in a planned and goal-orientated setting
