Michael Mc Namee has had an interest in Psychology and Coaching Individuals all his life, particularly where confidence or the lack of it to be more precise, are a factor for the individual.
Methods such as; encouragement, goal setting, overcoming fears or obstacles, dealing with anxiety/nerves and helping to obtain a better perspective on their own lives can have immediate and long lasting affects and benefits.
He works with Sport Teams as a Sport Psychologist/Performance Coach and Individual Athletes, from Amateur to Inter County & Professional Sports to guide them towards improved performance in their sporting and personal lives.
Michael studied at Dublin Business School, where he gained a Bachelors Degree in Psychology (Hons), and the Institute of Art & Design where he received a National Certificate in Sport Psychology. He is currently studying in Waterford IT for his Masters in Sport & Exercise Psychology.
Michael is also currently working as a Coaching Psychologist along with managing a GAA team, an area in which he has received success with every team he has been involved with for the past three years.
He offers Consultation on Saturdays in Athlone and on any other week day at his home in Offaly. His unique style is based on mutual trust, empathy & a genuine care for his fellow human beings.
